おそロシア

vodkaliciousunflower requested a Russia/America picture, so here’s my shot at that.
I’ve never made a point of buying America merchandise, which really limits the options. So we’ve got one coins, karakore mascots, and… wait, what?

The Russia mochi is unofficial! But he’s lovely, none the less. He’s not a bootleg, just a cosplay prop.
I think the XBOX and vodka collection unintentionally made the perfect background there. Too bad there’s no light in the room to see them.

Caught up with all my requests~ So that means I need some more. :>Drop a note in my askbox if there’s anything you’d like to see next~However, any items listed over here are unfortunately still missing.

Now it’s the Omochi Mini Cushion.
Which really doesn’t like its picture taken.

This plush set is basically an exact copy of the Omochi Mascots patterns! Of course this time around they’re nearly life-sized, instead, and the details are… More accurate, probably.

They’re incredibly squishy, which leaves you in this terrible state of wanting to hug them forever, but knowing their glued-on features will all break if you do.

Because the set uses the same patterns, it also uses the same lineup, with the other seven characters being the Axis, England, Canada, Spain and Liechtenstein.

Movic’s Omochi Mascot!

These are odd little things, keychains of only about 4cm in height.
In a way, their size makes them a really good match for the regular Movic plush, once the ballchain’s taken off! It also makes for a lot of diversity between each plush; accurate details must be a challenge with such a small workspace.

Eight plush were made in this set, the others being the Axis, England, Canada, Spain, and Liechtenstein.

Not an information post, but I’m ridiculously happy with this picture, so I have to share it.My next post should be Mochi related, but maybe we’ll see the Rubber Straps soon as well!

can you explain what the buttons on movic mean if its not too much trouble? as in what means out of stock, backorder, preorder, instock

Movic’s a tricky one; they only use two stock buttons, which makes it extra easy, but also more work than it needs to be.

image
This orange button always means the item’s out of stock, time to look somewhere else.

image
On the other hand, this blue button only means the item can be ordered. Even if the item you want has that nice blue button, that doesn’t mean everything will ship together!
Once you click through to the individual item pages, only then you’ll see their actual stock status:
image Items with the red cart button are currently in stock, and can be shipped right after payment.
image Items with the yellow cart button are preorders, and will ship after their release date.

I can’t find a button for backorder right now, so it’s possible that it may be lumped in with the red cart button, adding more confusion.

There was a request a while back to see how my collection’s organized, so here it is!
However there’s little to no “organization” there anymore.
It’s in extreme need of cleaning and sorting, so hopefully some day I can find the time for it!

Pokemon have slowly invaded the space, but they match the characters around them enough that it’s hard to kick them back out…

By anon request, tonight’s item is the Clear Flat Case!
… Mine’s not really flat anymore.

When I first ordered it, I honestly didn’t have high hopes— I wanted the cute art, and that would be enough. But it’s turned out to be incredibly great storage for other small flats!
There’s a really strong new plastic smell to the cases that may be a little off putting, but it’s perfectly fine if you’re not storing it next to your face.

As the back shows, all three dividers have the same art.

Along with the Allies, the Axis and Nordics also received cases in this set.

Hello there! I was just wondering- where on earth did you get your movic Russia plushies from? I've been looking and looking and can't find him anywhere, but I've had luck finding others. Him and Prussia [despite being expensive from what I've found] are the only two I care most about getting, for right now at least! If you could give me some advice on where to look, or where I should be looking, would do me greatly. Thank you so much!

I bought two direct from Animate when they were first released (~$16 each), two from friends who stopped collecting Russia (~$50 each), and two more from Japanese auction sites (~$20 each).

Because the first source is impossible this late, the only thing I can say is it takes a lot of luck!
If you want to try your hand at searching Japanese sites, I would suggest YJ and Mbok, with FromJapan as the deputy service.
If you want to stay in the English side of things, check out Hetalia_Sell, instead~

Thanks to an anon’s request, our next item is Russia’s Character CD!

It’s a five-track album, featuring regular and karaoke versions of Russia’s songs “зима" and "ペチカ~ココロ灯して~”, alongside a mini-drama.
With downloads readily available, it’s not so notable on its own— however it’s still managed to get additional merchandise!

The first and most obvious piece is the CD-exclusive trading card, included in only the First Press editions. His cover art is on the front, while his booklet art is on the back.

Next is the Character CD Pop Stand. These were packaged as a full set, and only obtainable as a present from Animate in early 2010. They may have been connected to buying either China’s character CD, or the CD box.

Then the most recent, and by far the most elusive, is a coaster from the Hetalia x King of System collaboration! These were obtained in roughly the same style as Animate Cafe items, starting from May 29th, 2013.

The Character CDs and their related bonus items have been made for all of the World 8.
